MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College baseball team dropped a pair of Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) games on the road to the Allegheny Gators Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Gators took game one 17-3 before taking game two 12-1.
 
In game one, 
Nathen Prunty (Elyria, Ohio/Keystone) went 2-for-2, while 
Seth Johnson (Magnolia, Ohio/Tuscarawas Valley) went 1-for-3 with an RBI. 
Nick Guarnieri (Niles, Ohio/Mckinley) and 
Yoshinori Hashimoto (Tokyo, Japan/Arakawa) each recorded an RBI.
 
Allegheny was led by Brady Nolin who went 3-for-4 with five RBIs. Sullivan Schueltz went 1-for-2 with four RBIs with two runs and a walk.
 
Nathan Doutt (Edinboro, Pa./General McClane) started for the Tomcats, giving up nine runs in two innings. 
Ian Mills (Alliance, Ohio/Marlington) and 
Dillon Belknap (Lagrange, Ohio/Keystone) pitched in relief.
 
Brent Herrmann started for the Gators, going six innings with four strikeouts.
 
In game two, the Tomcats only garnered four hits. 
Chase Morrison (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley), 
Calvin Cackowski (Wickliffe, Ohio/Wickliffe), 
Ethan Bintrim (New Castle, Pa./Shenango) and 
Mike Sittig (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley) all recorded one hit apiece.
 
Allegheny was led by Chase Chodkowski who went 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Alejandro Samayoa also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. 
 
Nate Lucas (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) started on the mound for the Tomcats, going three innings. 
Cole Sherwin (Karns City, Pa./Karns City) pitched the final three frames.
 
Allegheny's Mark Schweickert pitched a seven-inning complete game, striking out nine and allowing just one run.
 
The Tomcats return to Tomcat Park on Thursday when they welcome Penn-State Behrend to town. The non-conference game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
