GREENVILLE, Pa. – Five Thiel Tomcats scored in double figures Saturday afternoon in a 99-70 non-conference loss to the La Roche Redhawks at Maenpa Court at Beeghly Gymnasium.
 
Josie Lewis (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) led the Tomcats with 14 points while also contributing six rebounds and three steals. Taylor Susany (Struthers, Ohio/Struthers) scored 12 points to go along with four assists and three steals. Kelsey Seddon (Cochranton, Pa./Lakeview) also scored a season-high 12 points while securing five rebounds.
 
Jensen Stehlik (Sagamore Hills, Ohio/Nordonia) scored 11 points and led the Tomcats with seven rebounds. Natalie Hering (Middlefield, Ohio/Berkshire) chipped in with a season-best 10 points.
 
La Roche's Machia Hairston led all players with 35 points and 17 rebounds. She also recorded five assists and five steals. Jazmine Dunn scored 26 points while also contributing seven assists and five steals.
 
Thiel will face the Penn State Shenango Lady Lions on the road Wednesday. The non-conference game is set to begin at 7 p.m.
