BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road Wednesday to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes, 109-63.
Lexy Wagner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) paced the Tomcats with 16 points to go along with six rebounds.
Josie Lewis (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) scored nine points, secured four rebounds and handed out for assists.
Jah'nya Dorsey (Warren, Ohio/LaBrae) scored nine points off the bench while
Emili Scavitto (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) led Thiel with eight rebounds and scored eight points.
Mia San Nicolas recorded a double-double for Geneva with 31 points and 16 rebounds. She also had five blocks. Taylor Milroy scored 17 points, corralled seven rebounds and tallied seven steals.
Thiel will play its home opener Saturday against the Franciscan Barons. The PAC game is set to begin at 1 p.m.
