GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match to the Chatham Cougars, 6-0, Saturday afternoon at Alumni Stadium.
The Tomcats held tough, but the Cougars were able to break the deadlock in the 21
st minute. Chatham would add another goal ten minutes later to go into halftime up 2-0.
The Cougars would add four second half goals in eight minutes to round out the scoring.
For the Tomcats, senior
Bailey Fritz (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Austintown Fitch) recorded a shot on goal.
For the Cougars, Ainsley Smith led the way with two goals and two assists. Ava Krepp also recorded one goal and one assist.
In goal,
Samantha Hoffman (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) tallied six saves, while Chatham's Katie Krecek recorded one save.

The Tomcats are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Saint Vincent for a PAC matchup. The conference match is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
