GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match 3-1 Wednesday to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents at Maenpa Court at Beeghly Gymnasium.
Thiel won the first set in a marathon, 40-38. However, the Presidents won the next three sets by scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-18.
Erica Gregory (Clinton Township, Mich./Fraser) led all players with a career-high 19 kills. She also had 16 digs and two blocks.
Emma Buchta (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) and
Daisy Jenness (Pendleton, Ore./Pendleton) had 12 kills apiece and combined for seven blocks.
Arin DeLattre (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) contributed nine digs, six kills and five blocks.
Sarah Orr (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) dished out a career and match-best 45 assists to go along with 15 digs while
Carlie Reynolds (Grove City, Pa./Grove City Area) led all players with 38 digs.
Faith Fetsko led the Presidents with 25 digs and 15 kills.
The Tomcats will host the Chatham Cougars Friday. The PAC match will begin at 7 p.m.
