PITTSBURGH – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road Saturday to the Chatham Cougars, 61-41.
Destiny Merriwether (Youngstown, Ohio/East) led the Tomcats with a game- and career-high 17 rebounds to go along with 12 points.
Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western) recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Shayla Foster (East Liverpool, Ohio/East Liverpool) contributed seven points.
Ashlie Louden scored a game-best 21 points for the Cougars. Zelimar Rodriguez scored nine points and led her team with nine rebounds.
The Tomcats will face the Geneva Golden Tornadoes on the road Wednesday. The PAC game is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
