GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference game to the Grove City Wolverines Thursday at Maenpa Court at Beeghly Gymnasium, 93-35.
 
Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western) led the Tomcats with 14 points and eight rebounds. Johnson made four shots from the floor and went 6-for-6 at the foul line. She also contributed three blocks, two steals and two assists.
 
Destiny Merriwether (Youngstown, Ohio/East) corralled six rebounds and scored three points. Viviana Paucarima (Coral Springs, Fla./Coral Glades) grabbed five rebounds while Emili Scavitto (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) scored four points and secured three rebounds.
 
Nevaeh Ewing led Grove City with 14 points. Emily Garvin scored 12 points and corralled six rebounds. Megan Kallock and Mara Polczynski scored 12 and 11 points, respectively.
 
The Tomcats will face the Chatham Cougars on the road Saturday. The PAC game will begin at noon.
