GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team lost a non-conference game to the Adrian Bulldogs at Alumni Stadium Wednesday, 19-4.
Dylan Waskiewicz (York, Pa./Red Lion) and
Bennett Medyn (Macedon, N.Y./Palmyra Macedon) led Thiel with two goals apiece.
Selom Kalin-Samlan (Gaithersburg, Md./Watkins Mill) assisted on Medyn's first-quarter goal, which cut Adrian's lead to 2-1.
Anthony Richards (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) picked up four ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers.
Chris French led the Bulldogs, who improved to 8-2 on the season, with eight points (4G, 4A).
Jason Masciantonio (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) made 22 saves for the Tomcats. Sam Sprangler made four saves for the Bulldogs.
The Tomcats will open Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play on Saturday when they take on the Bethany Bison on the road. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
