ALFRED, N.Y. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team lost a non-conference game on the road Saturday to the Alfred Saxons, 22-4.
 
Bennett Medyn (Macedon, N.Y./Palmyra Macedon) paced the Tomcats with two goals and an assist. Pat Hartnett (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) and Nick Sylvis (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) also scored one goal apiece.
 
Adrian Romero led the Saxons with six points (5G, 1A).
 
Jason Masciantonio (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) made 17 saves for Thiel. Scott Kimiecik made four saves in the first half for Alfred.
 
The Tomcats will host the Adrian Bulldogs Wednesday at Alumni Stadium. The non-conference game will begin at 7 p.m.
