GREENVILLE, Pa. – Junior forward Destiny Merriwether (Youngstown, Ohio/East) led all players with 12 points Saturday, but it wasn't enough for the Thiel College women's basketball team in a 74-33 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents at Beeghly Gymnasium.
 
Merriwether's 12 points were a career high. She made 6-of-10 shots from the floor and also recorded seven rebounds. Taylor Susany (Struthers, Ohio/Struthers) scored nine points off the bench while Colleen Trainer (Latrobe, Pa./Mount Pleasant) corralled seven rebounds.
 
Meghan Dryburgh and Kamryn Lach led the Presidents with 10 points apiece. Dryburgh and Lach also combined for nine rebounds.
