Gators down Tomcats in season finale

GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match to the Allegheny Gators, 3-0, Wednesday night.
 
Allegheny opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a goal through Henry Rosenberg. The Gators added another goal just three minutes later to double the Gators lead.
 
Allegheny added a third goal in the 82nd minute to seal the victory for the Gators.
 
For the Tomcats, sophomore Evan Kosenina (Clinton, Pa./West Allegheny), junior AJ Trobek (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) and senior Garret Smith (Warren, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) each recorded a shot on target. Trobek also led the team with five shots. In net, freshman Nick Kristian (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) and senior Noah Brieck (Kensington, Ohio/United) combined to make seven saves in the match.
 
For the Gators, Darius Googe recorded two goals. In goal, Gabe Anthony recorded three saves in the match.
 
The Tomcats finished the season 1-15-2 (1-9-0 PAC).
