The Titans started strong and never let up, with two separate double-digit runs in the first quarter. The deficit proved to be too large for the Tomcats to overcome.
Lexy Wagner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) and
Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western) led the Tomcats with eight points apiece and three and nine rebounds, respectively.
Colleen Trainer (Latrobe, Pa./Mount Pleasant) also notched seven points with two rebounds and two steals.
Sha'nia Stiers-Royal (Austintown, Ohio/Austintown-Fitch) grabbed six rebounds.
For the Titans, Magen Polczynski and Natalie Murrio scored 20 and 17 points, respectively.
The Tomcats will look to get back on track Monday as they host the Grove City Wolverines at 5:30 p.m.
