WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road Monday to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents, 78-45.
Lexy Wagner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) led the Tomcats with a season-best 13 points.
Emily Grandy (Sharpsville, Pa./Sharpsville) and
Destiny Merriwether (Youngstown, Ohio/East) came off the bench to combine for 15 points.
Sha'nia Stiers-Royal (Austintown, Ohio/Austintown-Fitch) tallied a game-high seven rebounds.
Sarah Berardelli scored a game-high 21 points for the Presidents, who improved to 9-0 in PAC play with the win.
The Tomcats will host the Chatham Cougars at Beeghly Gymnasium on Wednesday. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
