Bobcats top Tomcats

GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a non-conference match Thursday to the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats at the Greensburg Racquet Club, 8-1.
 
Natalie Zgurich (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) paced the Tomcats with a 6-1, 6-0 win at first singles over Cathryn Rossi.
 
Zgurich and Payton Blankenbeckley (Portsmouth, Ohio/Minford) lost at first doubles to Rossi and Miranda Berkebile. Madeline Depalma (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna) and Reagan Hayne (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) lost 8-4 to Isabella Lane and Kelsey Murphy at third doubles.
 
Thiel will face Clarion University on Saturday. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
