CLARION, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a non-conference match on the road Saturday to the Division II Clarion Golden Eagles, 5-2.
 
Natalie Zgurich (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) defeated Alexis Strouse 6-3, 7-5 at first singles.
 
Sarah Haritos (Wilmington, Del./Concord) and Jordan Zee (Conneaut, Ohio/Edgewood) defeated Kali Aughenbaugh and Alayna McGovern 6-3 at second doubles. At third doubles, Madeline Depalma (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna) and Reagan Hayne (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) topped Savannah Buttery and Josie Beckerleg, 6-2.
 
The Tomcats will host the Penn State Behrend Lions on Wednesday. The non-conference match will begin at 3:30 p.m.
