GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team was defeated, 3-0, by the Bluffton Beavers on Saturday.
 
Bluffton took an early lead with a goal less than seven minutes in. The Beavers added two more goals in the second half to win 3-0.
 
For the Tomcats, Soren Hottensmith (Brimfield, Ohio/Field) recorded two shots including a shot on goal. Anthony Phillips (Hanoverton, Ohio/United Local) also recorded a shot. Devin Weisbarth (Akron, Ohio/Norton) notched six saves in the contest.
 
For the Beavers, Maxwell Kennedy recorded a goal and an assist on five shots. Angel Velasco-Urbina recorded a shutout in net.
 
The Tomcats' next game will be tomorrow at home against Penn State Brandywine. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
