SHARON, Pa. – The Thiel College men's golf team defeated the Geneva Golden Tornadoes Wednesday in a dual at Avalon at Buhl Country Club, 315-338.
Luke Sadowski (Sharon, Pa./Sharon) was the medalist with a score of 75.
Charlie Lichtenwalter (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) and
Tyler Zere (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot) both carded 79s to tie for second. Tying for sixth with scores of 82 were
Zach Lyons (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) and
Logan Pistorius (Karns City, Pa./Karns City Area).
Competing as individuals for the Tomcats, Charlie Gonzalez also tied for sixth while
Mark Knox (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) finished ninth with a score of 86.
Mike DeMiere and Jacob Delisio paced Geneva with scores of 81 to tie for fourth.
The Tomcat will be back in action Monday when they compete in the Saint Vincent Invitational.
