Breckenridge, Johnson pace Tomcats against Golden Tornadoes

GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes Wednesday at Beeghly Gymnasium, 95-58.
 
Rachel Breckenridge (Burton, Ohio/Berkshire) scored a game-high 18 points for the Tomcats while also contributing four rebounds, two assists and a steal. Breckenridge made 5-of-15 shots from the floor and went 3-of-10 from behind the three-point line. She also made all five of her shots from the free-throw line.
 
Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western) corralled a game-best 11 rebounds. She also scored seven points while recording four assists, three steals and two blocks. Sha'nia Stiers-Royal (Austintown, Ohio/Austintown-Fitch) scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds while Lexy Wagner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) scored six points.
 
Taylor Jackson led Geneva with 16 points and eight rebounds. Taylor Haring scored 10 points and tallied eight rebounds.
 
The Tomcats will host the Westminster Titans on Saturday. The PAC game will begin at 1 p.m.
