NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The sixth-seeded Thiel College women's tennis team was defeated on the road Tuesday by the third-seeded Westminster Titans in the quarterfinal round of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament, 9-0.
 
Sabrina Slagle and Caroline Fox topped Sarah Haritos (Wilmington, Del./Concord) and Jordan Zee (Conneaut, Ohio/Edgewood) 8-2 at second doubles.
 
Emma Sukal defeated Natalie Zgurich (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) 6-1, 6-1 at first singles while Gia Francisco topped Payton Blankenbeckley (Portsmouth, Ohio/Minford) 6-1, 6-1 at third singles. Fox won 6-1, 6-2 over Zee at fourth singles. Taylor Dlugozima edged Reagan Hayne (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) 2-6, 6-3, 11-9 at sixth singles.
