GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team opened the 2020 season Saturday with a 22-2 non-conference loss to the Rochester Yellowjackets at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome.
 
Sophomore Dionna D'Orsi (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman) and senior Mackenzie Quinn (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) paced the Tomcats with one goal apiece.
 
Kaileigh Davis led the Yellowjackets with four goals and two assists (6 points).
 
Emily Ramous (Bridgeville, Pa./Chartiers Valley) made six saves for Thiel. Carlie Bendavid and Emily Geiss each made a save for Rochester.
 
The Tomcats will host the Allegheny Gators Wednesday at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome. The non-conference game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
