BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes 86-53 on Wednesday.

Sophomore Rachel Breckenridge (Burton, Ohio/Berkshire) led the offensive effort with 22 points. She shot a game-best 6-of-15 from behind the three-point line.  Courtney Harriman (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) chipped in with 13 points, three rebounds and two assists.

Geneva was led by Lauren Tipton who recorded a double-double with 40 points and 27 rebounds.

The Tomcats will take a break from conference play when they host the Oberlin Yeowomen on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
