Yellow Jackets defeat Tomcats

WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game 93-40 on the road Saturday to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets.
 
Rachel Breckenridge (Burton, Ohio/Berkshire) paced the Tomcats with 10 points. Nielah Jones (Baltimore, Md./Catholic ) scored nine points while Destiny Merriwether (Youngstown, Ohio/East ) led the team with six rebounds.
 
Alli Delaney scored a game-high 20 points for the Yellow Jackets. Brooke Fuller recorded a double-double with 19 points and a game-best 11 rebounds.
 
The Tomcats will take on the Geneva Golden Tornadoes on the road on Wednesday. The PAC game is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
