GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game 94-27 to the Grove City Wolverines Wednesday at Beeghly Gymnasium.
 
Kate Balcom scored a game-high 23 points for the Wolverines. Jess Bowen scored 16 points and recorded nine steals. Nina Cano corralled a game-best 12 rebounds.
 
Courtney Harriman (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva), Rachel Breckenridge (Burton, Ohio/Berkshire) and Colleen Trainer (Latrobe, Pa./Mount Pleasant) paced the Tomcats with five points apiece. Nielah Jones (Baltimore, Md./Catholic ) led the Tomcats with five rebounds.
 
The Tomcats will return to action Saturday when they face the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets on the road. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
