MARIETTA, Ohio – The Thiel College women's soccer team lost a non-conference game 8-0 Wednesday on the road to the Marietta Pioneers.
 
Kayla Tomlin and Sienna Ahlers each recorded two goals and an assist for the Pioneers.
 
Emma Polinski (Brunswick, Ohio/Trinity) paced the Tomcats with three shots, two of which were on goal.
 
Bethany Bonnar (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) and Shay Tresler (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) combined to make 11 saves for Thiel.
 
The Tomcats will open Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play Friday when they host the Grove City Wolverines at Alumni Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.
