FREDONIA, N.Y. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a non-conference match on the road Thursday to the Fredonia Blue Devils, 8-1.
Allyson Stanley (Oil City, Pa./Oil City) paced the Tomcats with a 7-6, 6-7, 10-1 win over Taylor Marelli at fourth singles. Stanley is 5-0 on the season at fourth singles.
Thiel fell to 2-3 overall on the year with the loss. Fredonia remained undefeated at 7-0.
The Tomcats will host the Penn State Behrend Lions Monday. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
