GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost a non-conference match to the Hiram Terriers at Beeghly Gymnasium Wednesday night, 3-0.
 
Hiram won 25-18, 25-21 and 25-16.
 
Courtney Grubbs (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) led Thiel with 16 assists and five digs. Alexis Orton (North East, Pa./North East) led the Tomcats with 13 digs while Taylor Williams (Tuscarawas, Ohio/Indian Valley) contributed 11 digs. Jordyn Liedike (Anchorage, Alaska/Grace Christian) notched five kills.
 
Emily Chrustic notched 33 assists for the Terriers while Lindsey Stahl came up with 20 digs. Kayla Cole tallied a match-best 14 kills.
 
Thiel will face North Carolina Wesleyan College at Allegheny College on Friday. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Thiel will play Fredonia at noon and Allegheny at 2 p.m. Both matches will take place at Allegheny College.
