GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road Saturday to the Grove City Wolverines, 17-7.
Grove City held an 8-4 lead at halftime and outscored Thiel 5-0 in the third quarter en route to the conference win.
Jeffrey Karnoff (Ringoes, NJ/Hunterdon Central) led the Tomcats with three points (1G, 2A) while
Andrew Monks (Butler, Pa./Butler) scored two goals.
Grant Evans (3G, 1A) and Jed Speers (2G, 2A) led the Wolverines with four points apiece.
Cole O'Connor (Midlothian, Va./James River) made 21 saves for Thiel. R.J. Miller and Robbie Voinchet combined to make six saves for Grove City.
Thiel (4-4, 0-1 PAC) will host the La Roche Redhawks Wednesday at Alumni Stadium. The non-conference is set to begin at 7 p.m.
