HIRAM, Ohio – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a non-conference game to the Hiram Terriers 90-45 on Tuesday.
Nielah Jones (Baltimore, Md./Catholic ) led Thiel with 11 points off the bench. She also recorded a pair of assists, steals and rebounds.
Bailee Gregor (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) chipped in with nine points, including a perfect 5-of-5 effort from the line. Gregor hauled in a team-best six rebounds.
Tashauna Wright led a trio of Terriers who scored double-digits with a game-high 21 points.
Rachel Breckenridge (Burton, Ohio/Berkshire) scored 10 points in the loss.
The Tomcats will take on the Villa Maria Vikings in their first game of the Betty Abgott Tournament in Buffalo N.Y. on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
