GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's basketball team dropped a non-conference contest to the Penn State Behrend Lions on Tuesday, 94-73.
Ahmad Tejumola (Waldorf, Md./Saint Charles) led Thiel with 19 points and nine rebounds.
Michael Ricks (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland School of Architecture and Design) chipped in with 16 points, including shooting 2-of-5 from the three-point line. He added seven boards.
Nyric Gosley (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) also reached double-digits, scoring 12 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field in the loss.
Penn State Behrend had four players with double-digit point performances in the road win. The Lions were led by Devin Pope and Derrick Clark who scored 25 and 23 points, respectively.
The Tomcats will take part in the Buzz Ridl Classic this weekend at Westminster College. Thiel will face Penn State Shenango on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
