WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team lost a 3-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference contest to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets on Saturday.

Waynesburg got on the board early scoring the first goal of the game in the first minute. The Yellow Jackets would hold on to the 1-0 lead heading into the halftime break.

The Yellow Jackets added two goals of insurance in the second half to ensure the win.

Allison Hamilton (Norton, Ohio/Norton), Arlene Barreto (Covina, Calif./Bishop Amat Memorial ) and Kate Sollers (Suffield, Ohio/Field) all took shots in the loss.

Jessica Silbaugh, Leesha Wagner and Christina Golonka all scored for Waynesburg.

Defensively, Bethany Bonnar (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) recorded eight saves during her time in net.

The Tomcats are back in action on Tuesday when they host the Chatham Cougars. The PAC game is scheduled for 5 p.m.
