GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on the road Friday to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents, 9-0.
Shyann Foreman (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) and
Allyson Stanley (Oil City, Pa./Oil City) lost at second doubles to Vanesa Hyde and Jade Annaldo, 8-4. At first doubles,
Angela Campbell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Plum) and
Natalie Zgurich (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) suffered an 8-3 loss to Maya Krishnassamy and Isabella Goldman.
Campbell lost at No. 3 singles to Megan Berard 6-4, 6-0.
The Tomcats will host the Mount Aloysius Mounties on Sunday. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
