BRADFORD, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team lost a non-conference game to the Pitt Bradford Panthers Monday in overtime, 2-1.
Maddie Sollers (Suffield, Ohio/Field) gave Thiel a 1-0 lead near the 24-minute mark of the first half.
Kahlee Bowen tied up the game in the second half near the 70-minute mark. She also assisted on Meghan Stuck's game-winner, which was scored less than six minutes into overtime.
Lauren Hradesky (Mayfield Heights, Ohio/Mayfield) led the Tomcats with two shots on goal. Stuck took seven shots for Pitt Bradford, three of which were on goal.
Chimamaka Palmer (Northfield, Ohio/Mayfield) made nine saves for Thiel. Emily Bethel made four saves for the Panthers.
Thiel will take on Pitt Greensburg on the road Thursday. The non-conference game will begin at 2:30 p.m.
