GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team lost a non-conference game to the Heidelberg Student Princes Saturday at Alumni Stadium, 4-1.
Bekah Thomas gave Heidelberg the lead when she scored on a rebound in the box 35:25 into the first half.
It took the Tomcats just 16 seconds to even the score when
Nicole Pereksta (Parma Heights, Ohio/Valley Forge) scored from inside the box on a pass from
Marissa Ramirez (Amherst, Ohio/Amherst Steele). It was Pereksta's fourth goal and team-leading 10th point of the season.
Heidelberg regained the lead early in the first half when Madison Zimmerman scored in the box. McKenzie Perry made it 3-1 on a pass from Sophia Jackson, and Thomas closed scoring in the 89
th minute when she scored on a loose ball in the box.

Shay Tresler (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) made nine saves for the Tomcats. Alexandra Farmer made three saves for the Student Princes.
The Tomcats will host the Marietta Pioneers Tuesday at Alumni Stadium. The non-conference game will begin at 7 p.m.
