HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Thiel College women's soccer team earned a 7-0 non-conference win on the road Wednesday over the Hilbert Hawks.
Maddie Sollers (Suffield, Ohio/Field) led the Tomcats with two goals and an assist to finish with five points.
Nicole Pereksta (Parma Heights, Ohio/Valley Forge) scored two goals.
Joelle Reitz (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) tallied a goal and an assist.
Emma Polinski (Brunswick, Ohio/Trinity) and
Morgan Costello (Brockport, N.Y./Brockport) also scored a goal while
Madison Acor (Houston, Pa./Chartiers-Houston) picked up an assist.
Shay Tresler (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) made eight saves to earn a shutout in her first collegiate win. Brianna Stegmeier also made eight saves for the Hawks.
The Tomcats will be back in action Monday when they face the Muskingum Fighting Muskies on the road. The non-conference game is slated to begin at 5 p.m.
