LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road Wednesday evening to the Saint Vincent Bearcats, 89-69.
 
Jess Vormelker (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) led the Tomcats with a game-high 24 points while also contributing six rebounds. Freshman forward Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western) earned her fifth double-double of the season Wednesday with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
 
Also for Thiel, Courtney Warnick (Southington, Ohio/Chalker) and Colleen Trainer (Latrobe, Pa./Mount Pleasant) scored eight and seven points, respectively.
 
Madison Kollar led Saint Vincent with 23 points and seven rebounds. Maria Morgan scored 14 points while Carlee Kilgus scored 11 points.
 
The Tomcats will face the Bethany Bison Saturday on the road. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
