GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team concluded its 2018 season Friday night with a 3-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes at Alumni Stadium, 3-1.
Trailing 2-0 early in the second half,
Luke Lindeman (Lakewood, N.Y./Southwestern Central) cut Geneva's lead in half when he scored on a rebound inside the box.
Geneva responded a little more than 10 minutes later when Alex Yoder scored his second goal of the game, this time after receiving a short pass from Cole Sauer in the box.
Yoder put Gena up roughly 15 minutes into the contest when he scored in the box on a cross pass from Liam O'Halloran. Kevin Pasho gave the Golden Tornadoes a 2-0 lead early in the second half.
Christian Conrad (Barberton, Ohio/Central Catholic) made 12 saves for the Tomcats while
Devin Weisbarth (Akron, Ohio/Norton) made two stops. Luke Nolan made two saves for Geneva.
