GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team suffered a 90-50 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to the No. 5-ranked Thomas More Saints Wednesday at Beeghly Gymnasium.
 
Thiel junior guard Jess Vormelker (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) scored a game-high 24 points while securing five rebounds. Also for the Tomcats, Alivia Sidley (Thompson, Ohio/Ledgemont) and Sarah Nagy (Hadley, Pa./Commodore Perry) combined for 13 points and seven rebounds.
 
Nikki Kiernan led the Saints with 16 points. Madison Temple scored 15 points while Abby Owings and Emily Schultz scored 11 points apiece.
 
Thiel will host Waynesburg Saturday at Beeghly Gymnasium. The PAC game is set to begin at 1 p.m.
