GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road Wednesday to the Grove City Wolverines, 88-46.
Sophomore
Sarah Nagy (Hadley, Pa./Commodore Perry) led the Tomcats with 16 points. She also recorded seven rebounds and blocked two shots.
Courtney Harriman (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) scored 10 points while
Jess Vormelker (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) scored eight points and corralled nine rebounds. Vormelker also handed out three assists and blocked three shots.
Grove City's Lexie Arkwright led all players with 19 points. Arkwright also tallied seven rebounds. Jordan McConnell and Jess Book scored 14 and 12 points, respectively. Laura Buchanan chipped in with 11 points.
The Tomcats will be back in action Saturday when they face the Westminster Titans on the road. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
