STEVENSON, Md. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) loss on the road Saturday to the Stevenson Mustangs.
Thiel lost by scores of 25-14, 25-16 and 25-12.
Regan Hess (Burlington, Wis./Wetosha Central) led the Tomcats with six kills while
Jacob Burkley (Waterford, Pa./Fort LeBoeuf) and
Jacob DeRue (Penfield, N.Y./Fairport) contributed five kills apiece.
Zach Rombach (Severn, Md./Archbishop Spalding) tallied 18 assists while
Thad Paunovich (Avonmore, Pa./Kiski Area) recorded eight digs.
Landon Shorts led the Mustangs with 18 kills while Jared Chin contributed 43 assists.
The Tomcats will take on the Hilbert Hawks on the road Tuesday. The non-conference match is set to begin at 7 p.m.
