Duchon paces Tomcats against Bearcats

LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road to the Saint Vincent Bearcats Saturday, 79-39.
 
Junior forward Taylor Duchon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) paced the Tomcats with 19 points and eight rebounds. Alivia Sidley (Thompson, Ohio/Ledgemont) also contributed seven points while Jess Vormelker (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) grabbed eight rebounds.
 
Hannah Carroll and Taylor Boring led the Bearcats with 11 points apiece. Also for Saint Vincent, Susie Ellis scored 10 points and corralled eight rebounds.
 
The Tomcats will take on the Grove City Wolverines Wednesday on the road. The PAC game is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
