CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Thiel College women's basketball team was defeated 114-51 in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play on the road Wednesday by the 10
th-ranked Thomas More Saints.
Freshman forward
Allyson Stanley (Oil City, Pa./Oil City) led the Tomcats with 13 points off the bench while
Alivia Sidley (Thompson, Ohio/Ledgemont) netted 12 points. Also for Thiel,
Sarah Nagy (Hadley, Pa./Commodore Perry) and
Taylor Duchon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) combined for 15 points.
Madison Temple tallied a double-double for the Saints with game-bests in points (23) and rebounds (12). Shelby Rupp and Briana McNutt also scored 12 points apiece while Nikki Kiernan registered 10 rebounds.
The Tomcats will host the Geneva Golden Tornadoes Saturday at Beeghly Gymnasium. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
