PITTSBURGH – The Thiel College women's soccer team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest 2-0 to the Chatham Cougars Wednesday night at Highmark Stadium.
Genna Zeswitz gave the Cougars the lead late in the first half on a pass from Julie Bruening.
Chatham scored its second and final goal 32 seconds into the second half when Kyla Kelley scored on a pass from Zeswitz.
Lauren Hradesky (Mayfield Heights, Ohio/Mayfield) paced Thiel's offense with three shots, two of which were on goal.
Chimamaka Palmer (Northfield, Ohio/Mayfield) made 13 saves for the Tomcats. Ashley Bergman denied six shots for the Cougars.
The Tomcats will close out the 2017 season Saturday when they host the Thomas More Saints at Alumni Stadium. The PAC game will begin at 11 a.m.
