WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match to Waynesburg University on Saturday afternoon.

The Tomcats fell 4-0 to the Yellow Jackets on the road.

Thiel fell behind in the 13' as Sam Nichols was able to finish a ball from a corner to make it 1-0 in favor of Waynesburg. The score remained at 1-0 going into the half as neither team was able to convert on any other opportunities.

The second half saw the Yellow Jackets take lead as they would on to score three goals in the half. Goals in the 55', 66', and 79' by Waynesburg put the game out of hand as Thiel hand no answer.

Chimamaka Palmer (Northfield, Ohio/Mayfield) recorded 12 saves on the day.

The Tomcats will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 16 as they host the Washington and Jefferson College Presidents in a PAC match, kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
