WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road Thursday to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents, 83-56.
 
Jess Vormelker (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) led the Tomcats with game-highs in points (21) and rebounds (10) to record her seventh double-double of the season. Alivia Sidley (Thompson, Ohio/Ledgemont) also scored 11 points for the Tomcats.
 
Amirah Moore scored 14 points for the Presidents while Danielle Parker notched 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
 
The Tomcats will return to action Saturday when they take on the Bethany Bison on the road. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
