GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest at Beeghly Gymnasium Wednesday to the Grove City Wolverines, 73-44.
 
Jess Vormelker (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) paced the Tomcats with 13 points and seven rebounds. Also for Thiel, freshman guard Courtney Harriman (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) scored eight points off the bench while Brijae Journee (Cleveland, Ohio/Villa-Angela St. Joseph) contributed six points.
 
Lexie Arkwright scored a game-high 24 points for the Wolverines. Also for Grove City, Kate Balcom scored 15 points and Laura Buchanan recorded 11 rebounds to go along with nine points.
 
The Tomcats will return to action Saturday when they host the Westminster Titans. The PAC game is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
