BUFFALO, N.Y. – The D'Youville Spartans scored two early goals and never looked back in a 6-0 win over the Thiel Tomcats in a non-conference women's soccer game Wednesday at Dobson Field.
 
Magan Magee and Rachel Hermanski led the Spartans with two goals apiece. Magee also added an assist.
 
Joelle Reitz (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) paced the Tomcats with two shots, one of which was on goal.
 
Kim Gentry (Madison, Ohio/Madison) made eight saves for the Tomcats while Chimamaka Palmer (Northfield, Ohio/Mayfield) also contributed three saves. Megan Dulniak made four saves for the Spartans to earn the shutout win.
 
The Tomcats will return to action Saturday when they host the La Roche College Redhawks at Alumni Stadium. The contest is scheduled to begin at noon.
