CANONSBURG, Pa. – The Thiel College men's golf team defeated the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets Tuesday at Southpointe Golf Club, 376-459.
Matt Babeji (Lawrence, Pa./Canon-McMillan) led the Tomcats with a score of 90 on the par-72 course.
Will Malady (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) was right behind with a 91 while
Jimmy Buckley (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic) shot a 96. Also for the Tomcats,
Greg Galbo (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) carded a 99.
Alex Orlandi paced the Yellow Jackets with a score of 94.
The Tomcats will return to action Monday when they compete in the Westminster Invitational at the New Castle Country Club.
