GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to the Hiram Terriers in a non-conference contest to open the season Thursday night under the lights at Alumni Stadium.
Junior goalkeeper
Kim Gentry (Madison, Ohio/Madison) stopped 10 shots in a little over 78 minutes of work for the Tomcats. Junior
Kaytee Candela (Ashtabula, Ohio/Lakeside) had four shots, two of which were on target. Sophomore
Cassie Koch (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe) also had a shot on goal in the loss.
Allie Glatt scored two goals for the Terriers, including converting a penalty kick in the 66
th minute.
The Tomcats (0-1) will hit the road Saturday, Sept. 3 when they take on the Franciscan Barons. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
