LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team lost an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) contest on the road Thursday to the Saint Vincent Bearcats, 19-9.
 
Jennifer Rickens (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley) and Paige Onomastico (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley ) paced the Tomcats. Rickens scored four goals and added an assist for five points while Onomastico scored three goals. Also for the Tomcats Paige Scherer (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley) scored a goal and picked up five ground balls.
 
Maggie Nelson led the Bearcats with eight points on six goals and two assists. Helena Shoplik recorded five points (3G, 2A).
 
Asia Wallace (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) made four saves for the Tomcats while Maria Franey denied five shots for the Bearcats.
 
The Tomcats will take on the Thomas More Saints on the road on Sunday. The ORLC game is set to begin at 1 p.m.
