CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest on the road Saturday 105-41 to the top-ranked Thomas More Saints.
 
Freshman guard Jess Vormelker (Orwell, Ohio/Grand Valley) paced the Tomcats with 10 points while Hannah Stoneman (Sugarcreek, Ohio/Hiland) scored nine points. Erin DiFalco (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) and Taylor Duchon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) each grabbed five rebounds.
 
Abby Owings and Madison Temple each scored 22 points for the Saints. Shelby Rupp also contributed 11 points. Sydney Moss and Nikki Kiernan each pulled down eight rebounds.
 
The Tomcats will return to action Wednesday when they take on the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets on the road. The PAC contest is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
